Understanding Your Child Through Astrology Will Change Everything
From confusion to connection—nurturing your child in the way they truly need
Â
Happy Saturday, Mama 🤍
This week, my kids went back to school… and routines are officially back in full swing.
And if I’m being honest—I love routines.
There’s something about structure that I appreciate so deeply. It brings flow, ease, and most of all… harmony. And who doesn’t want a household that runs a little smoother?
Because let’s be real—living with kids is a lot.
It’s stressful, chaotic, dramatic… and somehow still entertaining all at the same time.
Our first day back didn’t exactly start with smiles.
There were tears in our home.
But not because she hates school…
It was because the Easter break created distance between her and her friends. So it felt like starting all over again—not in a big, obvious way, but in that quiet, emotional “finding your place again” kind of way.
And that takes energy.
Her little energetic battery was already drained before we even left the house. She was more focused on how others would receive her, how they would approach her…
My little Pisces Moon baby 🤍
Her inner world is so sensitive, so deep. And when those emotions aren’t grounded, her imagination can quickly turn into worry or fear.
fear.
And this is exactly why I always say—
Â
Understanding your child’s chart is powerful.
Because you’re no longer guessing.
You’re nurturing from a place of deep understanding, not confusion.
And today feels extra special…
It’s my second-born’s birthday—big 19 🤍

So I thought, what better way to honour him than by diving into his chart?
Â
The Core Three 🤍
The most important part of your chart—your foundation.
Your Sun is your core identity.
Your Moon is your emotional world.
And your Ascendant (your Rising sign) is your personality—how you meet the world, and how the world meets you.
Â
His Chart 🤍
He has a Taurus Sun…
And yes, his identity can revolve around the finer things.
He cares about his appearance, he loves labels, he enjoys material comfort—he definitely fits that mould people often point to.
But there’s more to him than that.
He’s a homebody.
He’s patient with his siblings.
He values comfort, stability… familiarity.
And when you bring in his Cancer Ascendant, it all starts to make sense.
These two energies click.
Because what do they both value?
Safety. Comfort. Emotional security.
So his approach to life becomes:
Slow-moving.
Sensitive.
A little closed off.
Introverted in the way he protects his energy.
And with his Sun in the 10th House, this becomes part of his public identity too.
But then… there’s his Moon in Leo in the 1st House.
And this is where it gets interesting.
Because your Moon is your inner world—
the part of you most people don’t get to see… unless you let them in.
And his Moon?
It’s not quiet.
It’s bold.
Expressive.
It wants to be seen.
It wants to stand tall and be recognised.
It wants the spotlight.
So you have this contrast:
The Sun and Ascendant saying,
“You’re safe here. Stay comfortable. Stay where you are.”
And the Moon whispering…
“There’s more. Be seen. Step forward.”
But that whisper doesn’t stay quiet.
The more it’s ignored,
the louder it becomes.
And there’s another layer here…
His Moon is conjunct Saturn.
And this isn’t the kind of connection that feels soft or supportive.
This is where emotions can feel restricted.
Where Saturn steps in and quiets the Moon.
Where expression doesn’t always feel safe.
So that Leo Moon that wants to shine?
It doesn’t always feel like it can.
And this is where the message becomes even clearer for me as his mum.
Because this is where his growth lives.
Not in forcing him out of his shell…
But in creating a space where he feels safe enough to come out on his own.
So for me, it’s about the small steps.
It’s about asking him what he wants.
It’s about encouraging his voice, not overpowering it.
Because I know Leo energy—
it’s bold, expressive, creative…
And that creativity?
That’s the missing link.
So nurturing him looks like:
Helping him feel safe to be seen.
Letting him know it’s okay to lower his guard.
Showing him that life isn’t about staying comfortable… but gently expanding beyond it.
Not in a way that throws him in the deep end—
but in a way that builds quiet courage.
Because at the end of the day…
It’s not that he isn’t the lion.
It’s that he’s still learning it’s safe to be the lion he’s been keeping at bay.
And I know this… not just as an astrologer, but from my own experience.
Because I didn’t receive the kind of nurturing that aligned with my chart.
So expression?
That was something I had to find later in life.
Learning this in your 30s is a whole different experience.
Yes, you can learn new ways…
but by that point, the wiring has already been set.
The patterns.
The coping mechanisms.
The ways you’ve learned to survive.
And most of the time…
Those survival skills never actually complemented who you were meant to be.
So that inner whisper—
that part of you that was always trying to guide you—
It starts to feel foreign.
Easy to ignore.
Easy to silence.
And that’s why this matters so much to me as a mother.
Because if I can support him now…
if I can nurture who he already is instead of who the world tells him to be—
Then maybe he won’t have to spend years trying to reconnect with himself later.
Maybe his voice won’t feel foreign.
Maybe his expression won’t feel unsafe.
Maybe he won’t have to unlearn just to become who he was always meant to be.
And that… is the difference.
That’s the power of understanding your child’s chart 🤍
Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be preparing to bring something to life…
An offering designed to support you—not just as a mum,
but in the way you understand, nurture, and connect with your child.
Something that strengthens you,
while also supporting them.
