How have you been?
I've been feeling the overwhelm lately, so I've pulled back a little. For the time being, you'll be seeing just one blog a week from me. This may only be temporary, but right now life simply doesn't support more than that.
The juggle of motherhood has asked me to pause, and that's okay. Sometimes our bodies let us know when something is no longer sustainable.
I've been allowing my writing to take centre stage because creativity is incredibly important to me. With both my Venus and Moon in the 5th house, creativity has always been a part of who I am. Yet for years I let it slide. There was a moment in my life that built a wall around it, but lately I've been stepping back into that world of possibilities, and I'm proud of that.
More importantly, stepping up and pursuing my dreams models something valuable for my children. One setback does not define your future. The most important part is getting back up. You can't fail if you keep moving forward. It's the hiding, shrinking, and giving up that slowly steals pieces of your soul.
There is something truly powerful about standing tall, embracing who you are, and continuing forward despite the fear.
My dedication has now led to a word count of 24,400 words, and I'm choosing to celebrate that achievement.

The North Node: The North Star of Your Chart
Now let's move on to the centrepiece of today's blog.
The North Node.
"What exactly is the North Node?" I hear you ask.
The North Node is often referred to as the growth point of the natal chart. It represents the qualities, experiences, and lessons your soul is being encouraged to develop throughout this lifetime.
When we arrive here, life begins shaping us through our experiences. Trauma, fear, grief, disappointment, conditioning, and even success can all influence the roads we travel.
Sometimes those roads lead us away from ourselves.
The courage comes in the rediscovery.
The redirection.
The moment we begin listening to the quiet pull of something deeper.
Astrologically, the North Node points toward that growth. It isn't always comfortable, but it often leads us toward the lessons our soul came here to explore.
My North Node Example
My North Node is in Pisces.
For me, this points toward a spiritual journey. It's about learning to surrender, trust, connect, and discover peace beyond what can be controlled or measured.
My North Node sits in the 7th house, which means partnerships play an important role in that journey. The connections I build become part of my growth and evolution.
But there are always deeper layers within a chart.
My North Node forms a trine to Chiron in Cancer in the 12th house.
A trine is considered a harmonious aspect. For me, this suggests that healing family wounds and emotional pain may become part of the path that helps me grow into my North Node.
I also have a sextile between my North Node and Saturn in the 6th house, highlighting how discipline, routines, and consistent effort can help turn dreams into tangible achievements.

The Connections Don't Stop There
One area I've been exploring lately is synastry.
Synastry is the comparison of two natal charts to better understand how people influence one another.
And honestly?
It's fascinating.
Did you know that other people's planets can activate your own?
No two charts are exactly the same, which means every connection brings something unique.
When someone's Sun, Moon, Rising, Mercury, Venus, or Mars forms harmonious aspects with your chart, they may naturally encourage certain parts of you to grow.
Likewise, you may do the same for them.
A person can help activate your voice through Mercury.
Your heart through Venus.
Your courage through Mars.
Your identity through the Sun.

Sometimes the people we admire, learn from, or feel drawn toward are helping us move closer to our own growth path.
