Magic in the Movement

Something has been playing on my mind a lot lately.

And I have a little inkling as to why.

It could very well be because the North Node is currently moving through Pisces, and what I’m moving towards feels very heightened at the moment… because my natal North Node is also in Pisces.

So there’s a bit of a double ring happening here.

We have the transiting North Node in Pisces, and I’m about to move into my North Node return very soon. It’s only a few degrees away.

And I’m quite excited.

But I’m also a little bit sad that Pisces is coming to an end within its North Node run, because mid-year it will move into Aquarius.

Which is exciting in its own way.

But anyway… back to the story.

 

A Dream I’ve Kept Quiet

Something has been toying with my mind for a little while now.

I’ve been dreaming about a life on the road.

I know… if you know me, you probably think, hmm… she doesn’t really seem like the adventurous type.

But this dream has always been there.

The only people who really understand this about me are the ones who know me best.

Because my Moon sign is in Sagittarius.

And what do I always say Sagittarius is about?

Adventure.

Sagittarius is the one driving the wheel, expanding possibilities and horizons, wanting to see what is beyond the next hill.

But that part of me often stays hidden.

It stays inside.

Maybe the dream has always been there, but my Capricorn Sun kept saying: “No, you need to be practical. Build stability first.”

So the whispers of adventure were quieted, tucked beneath practicality.

But as my Pisces North Node has been slowly activating over the last nearly 18 months, it has awoken something for me.

And finally… I’m hearing the whispers again, louder, clearer, loaded with possibility.

 

When Your Chart Shows You Why

Recently I realised why it feels difficult.

There is an aspect in my chart — a quincunx.

If you’re not familiar with that, it’s an aspect that can create tension between two energies that struggle to integrate.

In my case, it sits between my Sagittarius Moon and my Capricorn Sun.

Now if you know Capricorn energy, you’ll understand immediately.

Capricorn is practical.

Capricorn likes structure.

Capricorn wants solid ground, a roof overhead, and foundations that are built step by step.

But my Sagittarius Moon?

She wants to roam.

She wants adventure.

She wants to see the world.

So there’s this constant push and pull between my Moon — who wants freedom — and my Sun, who wants stability.

Sometimes that tension can feel frustrating.

Because my heart says:

I want to travel.

I want to explore.

I want to experience more.

But my mind says:

Stay grounded.

Stay practical.

Stay safe.

 

Finding the Balance

So the question became…

How do I balance both?

Because the truth is, I can’t live fully in just one of those energies.

Being inside the same four walls every day doesn’t make my heart sing.

But not having a home base to return to doesn’t feel right either.

So what is the balance between roaming… and coming home?

I thought about it long and hard.

And eventually the answer came to me.

A caravan.

So yes.

I’m going to buy a caravan.

 

A Dream That Builds Slowly

Now this isn’t going to happen overnight.

And I’m not about to sell everything tomorrow and disappear across Australia.

Because my nervous system wouldn’t handle that.

If I suddenly dove straight into living on the road, my body would feel completely rattled.

So instead, I’m choosing the middle path.

The slow build.

First, the caravan.

Then weekend trips.

Then small adventures throughout the year.

And slowly my nervous system will begin to trust that freedom is safe.

That I can roam…

and still come home.

 

This Week’s Transit: Mars & North Node in Pisces
